Hi! I’m Claire. I love to draw offbeat creatures and sweet characters. I’ve illustrated a few picture books (including my own: What is a Dog?). I have also written, illustrated, and published an interactive choose-your-own-adventure game, which you can play at opal.artfularmadillo.com.

I’m a member of the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI) and a graduate of the Studio Art program at CSU Long Beach.

Aside from drawing, my interests range from fiber arts to outer space! I love to travel and spend time outdoors.
